A rare combination: the region's most iconic postcards and a deep immersion into the valley, staying in local families' homes.
The Chapada's most beautiful waterfall and Brazil's most stunning trek, combined in a single six-day journey.

Day 1
Departure 8:30 AM · Return 6:30 PM · Lunch Included · Moderate Difficulty. We depart from Lençóis for Gruta da Lapa Doce, an expansive limestone cave adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. After exploring the cave, we enjoy a homemade regional lunch, followed by a visit to Fazenda Pratinha — a complex of crystal-blue waters perfect for swimming — and the incredible Gruta Azul. On our return, we ascend Morro do Pai Inácio to witness Chapada's most iconic sunset view.
Day 2
Departure 8:30 AM · Return 6:00 PM · Lunch Included · Easy Difficulty. We explore two extraordinary cave pools with mesmerizing crystal-blue waters. First, we visit Poço Encantado, a 60-meter-deep grotto where sunlight pierces the depths, creating an ethereal beam of light on the water. Then, we continue to Poço Azul for a unique floating experience in its transparent waters. Enjoy a buffet lunch at the farm's restaurant.
Day 3
Departure 5:45 AM · Return 7:30 PM · Trail Snack Included · Moderate Difficulty. After breakfast, we drive to the town of Ibicoara to experience the majestic Cachoeira do Buracão — an approximately 80-meter-high cascade plunging into a deep pool within narrow canyons, located at the southern tip of Serra do Sincorá.
Day 4
Departure 08:00 · Return 18:30 · Trail snack included · Intense level. We drive from Lençóis to Vila do Guiné, a route alternating between paved and off-road sections, where our trek begins. We hike through Gerais do Rio Preto, stopping for a refreshing swim and a snack, continuing to Mirante do Vale, which offers a privileged panoramic view of the entire region. We spend the night and have dinner at a local family's home. Approximately 9 km hike.
Day 5
Departure 08:00 · Return 18:30 · Trail snack included · Intense level. After a hearty breakfast, we explore Cachoeiras dos Funis, Cachoeira do Lajedo, and Cachoeira das Bananeiras, then ascend Morro do Castelo — an incredible view from the mountaintop, where we traverse a cave. The average hike is 12 km, without carrying heavy packs. We spend the night and have dinner at a local family's home.
Day 6
Departure 08:00 · Return 18:30 · Trail snack included · Intense level. After breakfast, we head to Cachoeirão por cima — a series of waterfalls forming within a canyon over 200m high. Along the trail, we enjoy refreshing river swims and a hearty snack. Upon reaching Aleixos, an agency vehicle awaits to transport us back to Lençóis.
Yes, it's considered safe to travel solo to Chapada Diamantina — it’s actually one of Brazil's most sought-after destinations for women traveling alone.
Chapada Diamantina captivates year-round, though the weather can vary significantly. Generally, summer (January to March) brings more rain and higher temperatures, but that’s not always the case; this period can also have dry spells, and some winters bring rain. Every visit is unique, and our team is always ready to ensure you have the best possible experience, no matter the season.
Lençóis is the primary town, offering the most developed infrastructure and ideal access to Chapada Diamantina’s main attractions.
We recommend between 4 and 8 days to comfortably experience the main attractions.
It depends on the itinerary. We offer gentle and accessible outings, but also more challenging hikes, like the Vale do Pati trek.
Our tours utilize new, comfortable vehicles. To enhance your experience and navigate local road conditions effectively, some itineraries may use 4x4 off-road vehicles.
Light clothing, appropriate hiking footwear, sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, a light jacket, insect repellent, and a small daypack for outings. A 1.5-liter water bottle, a flashlight, and a rain jacket are also recommended. We will send you a detailed list of essential items.
Lençóis and other towns typically have service, though it can be limited. However, trail areas and natural attractions usually lack coverage.
Yes. Depending on the specific outing, meals are included — these may be served at local restaurants or provided as packed lunches.
