The Classic itinerary distills the essence of Chapada Diamantina into four balanced days, spanning from vibrant blue-water caves to expansive crystal-clear pools, and from hidden waterfalls to the iconic Morro do Pai Inácio.
This is the ideal choice for those eager to discover the region's most remarkable landscapes, with a more challenging fourth day trek to Cachoeira do Sossego for avid hikers.
Four days designed to showcase Chapada's diverse landscape — caves, natural pools, waterfalls, and viewpoints — at a pace that builds from relaxed to intense.

Day 1
Departure 8:30 AM · Return 6:30 PM · Lunch Included · Moderate Difficulty. We depart from Lençóis for Gruta da Lapa Doce, an expansive limestone cave adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. After exploring the cave, we enjoy a homemade regional lunch, followed by a visit to Fazenda Pratinha — a complex of crystal-blue waters perfect for swimming — and the incredible Gruta Azul. On our return, we ascend Morro do Pai Inácio to witness Chapada's most iconic sunset view.
Day 2
Departure 8:30 AM · Return 6:00 PM · Lunch Included · Easy Difficulty. We explore two extraordinary cave pools with mesmerizing crystal-blue waters. First, we visit Poço Encantado, a 60-meter-deep grotto where sunlight pierces the depths, creating an ethereal beam of light on the water. Then, we continue to Poço Azul for a unique floating experience in its transparent waters. Enjoy a buffet lunch at the farm's restaurant.
Day 3
Depart 08:30 · Return 18:30 · Includes lunch · Moderate difficulty. Journey to Fazenda dos Impossíveis to discover Cachoeira do Mosquito — named for the tiny diamonds once found here — featuring a 50m cascade and numerous swimming spots. Afterward, we'll hike along Rio Mucugezinho to reach Cachoeira do Poço do Diabo.
Day 4
Depart 08:00 · Return 18:30 · Includes trail snack · Intense difficulty (round-trip hike). Embark on an approximate 6 km hike to Cachoeira do Sossego, following a pristine trail through untouched nature. Sections involve rock-hopping along the riverbed before reaching Sossego's expansive natural pool.
