Day 1

Caves Itinerary — Gruta da Lapa Doce, Fazenda Pratinha, Gruta Azul & Morro do Pai Inácio

Departure 8:30 AM · Return 6:30 PM · Lunch Included · Moderate Difficulty. We depart from Lençóis for Gruta da Lapa Doce, an expansive limestone cave adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. After exploring the cave, we enjoy a homemade regional lunch, followed by a visit to Fazenda Pratinha — a complex of crystal-blue waters perfect for swimming — and the incredible Gruta Azul. On our return, we ascend Morro do Pai Inácio to witness Chapada's most iconic sunset view.

Day 2

Trekking in Muritiba Park

Departure 8:30 AM · Return 1:30 PM · No meals included · Moderate level (out and back on foot). Enjoy an easy hike through Muritiba Municipal Park, located on the outskirts of Lençóis. Discover Caldeirões do Serrano, the Hall of Colored Sands, Poço Halley, Cachoeira da Primavera, and a viewpoint offering panoramic city views. On the return, take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of Cachoeirinha.

Day 3

Poço Azul & Poço Encantado

Departure 8:30 AM · Return 6:00 PM · Lunch Included · Easy Difficulty. We explore two extraordinary cave pools with mesmerizing crystal-blue waters. First, we visit Poço Encantado, a 60-meter-deep grotto where sunlight pierces the depths, creating an ethereal beam of light on the water. Then, we continue to Poço Azul for a unique floating experience in its transparent waters. Enjoy a buffet lunch at the farm's restaurant.

Day 4

Cachoeira do Mosquito & Poço do Diabo

Depart 08:30 · Return 18:30 · Includes lunch · Moderate difficulty. Journey to Fazenda dos Impossíveis to discover Cachoeira do Mosquito — named for the tiny diamonds once found here — featuring a 50m cascade and numerous swimming spots. Afterward, we'll hike along Rio Mucugezinho to reach Cachoeira do Poço do Diabo.

Day 5

Cachoeira do Sossego, Ribeirão de Cima, and Ribeirão do Meio

Depart 08:00 · Return 18:30 · Includes trail snack · Intense difficulty (round-trip hike). Embark on an approximate 6 km hike to Cachoeira do Sossego, following a pristine trail through untouched nature. Sections involve rock-hopping along the riverbed before reaching Sossego's expansive natural pool.

What should I pack?

Light clothing, appropriate hiking footwear, sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, a light jacket, insect repellent, and a small daypack for outings. A 1.5-liter water bottle, a flashlight, and a rain jacket are also recommended. We will send you a detailed list of essential items.

Is there cell service and internet?

Lençóis and other towns typically have service, though it can be limited. However, trail areas and natural attractions usually lack coverage.

Are meals included in the tours?

Yes. Depending on the specific outing, meals are included — these may be served at local restaurants or provided as packed lunches.

Do I need to book tours in advance?

Yes, booking your itinerary in advance is essential to secure your spot on tours and confirm accommodation availability.

Are there restaurants at the attractions?

While some attractions have restaurants, others do not offer dining facilities. In such instances, we provide packed lunches.

The primary access point is Lençóis Airport. Alternatively, you can travel overland: buses depart from Salvador, with a journey time of approximately 7 hours.

Meals
Meals included on tours: Enjoy homemade regional lunches on driving days and a trail snack on the Sossego day. Please note: Meals are not included on the Muritiba Park day.

Lençóis serves as the base for this itinerary — all tours depart from and return to the town. Accommodation in Lençóis is at your discretion and is not included; we will pick you up at your preferred inn.
